- On Friday November 13, Economists for Peace and Security organized a symposium in at the
Ronald Reagan International Trade Center Washington, in collaboration with the New
America Foundation and the Initiative for Rethinking the Economy. The event comprised
three panels -- on financial reform, on jobs and housing, and on the international dollar
-- plus two keynote addresses, from Damon Silvers of the Congressional Oversight Panel
and Phil Angelides of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission.
The entire event was web-cast to an audience of about 6500. Now the video has been
uploaded to the EPS site, where you can access it at here. 
- James Galbraith will be on Bill Moyers's Journal Friday night, to discuss the 80th anniversary of the
Great Crash and the new edition of a certain book by that title, just released in the US
from Houghton-Mifflin and in the UK by Penguin.
